Welcome Constance Marie, ELAWC Spokesperson and Advocate

The East Los Angeles Women’s Center (ELAWC) is delighted to welcome Constance Marie in her new role as spokesperson and advocate. Ms. Marie was introduced as spokesperson at the Mujeres de Paz Annual Awards Dinner.  In this role, Ms. Marie – a native of East Los Angeles – will bring greater awareness to the vital importance of the Center’s work, helping support and empower Latinas and their families establish healthy and safe lives.

“All women and children deserve a safe place to live, learn and love. Through my work, my life experience, and as a new mother, I have a deep compassion and understanding for the challenges facing many Latinas today. This is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness on issues of violence and HIV that impact women and their children” says Ms. Marie.

We are honored to have Constance as a member of our team and very much look forward to collaborating to highlight the work and successes of ELAWC.
