Description:
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The East Los Angeles Women’s Center invites you to join the 14th Annual Mujeres de Paz Candlelight March & Vigil. Walk with survivors, friends, and family in memory and to stand against domestic violence.
Vigil assembles at the Mural of the La Virgen De Guadalupe on the corner of Mednik and Cesar Chavez Avenue. Walk proceeds to Collegian Ave. and Cesar Chavez Avenue, ending at the East Los Angeles College Performing Arts Center Court Yard.
Members of the community will reflect on the importance of this issue and stand united with victims and survivors in a moment of silence.
