Description:
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The East Los Angeles Women’s Center cordially invites you to join the 14th Annual Mujeres de Paz Candlelight March & Vigil. Walk with survivors, friends, and family in memory and to stand against domestic violence.
Vigil will assemble at the East Los Angeles Civic Center at the Fountain in front of the courthouse. Walk proceeds to mural of the La Virgen De Guadalupe on the corner of Mednik and Cesar Chavez Avenue. Members of the community will reflect on the importance of this issue and stand united with victims and survivors in a moment of silence.
